The challenge

 

Design a high quality reusable drinking water bottle that keeps the contents cool.

 

The design

 

The bottle is comprised of a PET injection blow moulded inner with an injection moulded BPA free polycarbonate outer sleeve. Air is evacuated from the void between them creating a thermal barrier. The vacuum is maintained by treating the bottle surfaces using gas impermeable coating technology. An insulated screw lid is retained by an optional carrying strap attached to the end of the bottle.
